Abstract

|
Hematocrit is one of the important indices in morpholo-gically classifying the anemia. In general, though the electronically determined hematologic values are more accurate than that of conventional methods.
Hematocrit was determinations by microhematocrit and ELT-8 were obtained using increased mean corpuscular volume of venous blood samples, and compared the two methods. The result was as follow;
1. There was no significant difference between the microHCT and automated measurement of Hematocrit.
2. The regression lines and coefficient of correlation for companion of correlationship between the microHCT and automated measurement of Hematocrit are as follows; Y=O. 99x+O. 376, r=0.005, n=20.
